While the whole country was mourning the deaths of innocent people killed and were praying for the injured and the families affected after the blasts that shook Mumbai, SRK threw a big bash at his home and was seen partying late into the night in the SAME city. Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Karihsma Kapoor etc. were present at the celebration. The question being raised here is, SRK, who is seen as an icon and is idolised by the youth, is seen displaying such shameful behaviour. Isn't it like rubbing salt into the wounds of affected families?
People are not bothered about his personal life, but isn't being a youth icon a bigger responsiblity than just tweeting something telling you are severely saddened, depressed and devastated and then the next day you are seen partying? This incident proves the double-faced nature of Shahrukh Khan. At least he should have waited until everything came back to normal or postponed the party since this party was really not needed at this hour. He should've learnt something from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who despite travelling all the way to Delhi along with her whole family in her pregnant state to receive her international award but decided to cancel the awards mid-way, right after the news reached the place.
We expected a similar behaviour from Shahrukh, but how shameful it is, that he behaves this way. It also exposes the double faced nature of such actors. Those affected by the blasts were a part of their fans and these actors are stars because these PEOPLE made them stars. In an instance like this, if you cannot support them financially or share their sorrows, at least stay connected to people emotionally, but partying and celebrating at this hour is a disgrace.
